In case you haven't seen on social media, Women Have Options made international news this week with a powerful and silent coalition protest at the Ohio State House, as yet another dangerous abortion ban was introduced. This video from Al Jazeera has gone viral with over 600,000 views on Facebook. While lawmakers try and pass legislation to effectively ban abortion after 13 weeks, WHO/O, NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio and Planned Parenthood Advocates, were there together to protect Ohioans.

SB 145, a ban against dilation and evacuation, is an attempt to block access to a common and safe abortion method and will affect mostly those who struggle to access abortion in the first place. Folks seeking abortion care are already being forced to wait longer to get access to care or some forced to travel out of state. If you don't have the resources to travel out of state, or travel two hours to a clinic, you're already kind of like in The Handmaid's Tale — forced to give birth without your consent. Help us by making a $20 pledge to help those who struggle to access their choice.
